There are many advertising companies and affiliate programs for use with blogs and other sites. I'm going to try a few of them out and post about the progress of each one and whether or not I recommended them. These posts will be intertwined with my regular posts of different and interesting things I find around the web.

Twilight Madness
So I'm not exactly sure how many people have read these books, I know a lot, but I never even heard about them until two months ago. If you don't know what I am talking about, the Twilight series are books about vampires set in a small obscure town called Forks, WA. Now the only reason I ever heard about these books is that my girlfriend got a job teaching at the high school, where these books take place, and we had to move to the town.
Apparently, there is a huge following around the world. The fans actually come from all over the world to this town of 3100 people just because of these books. All the stores carry Twilight products to buy and actually this Saturday the 13th is one of the main characters birthday. The town is putting on a bunch of events and I'm expecting a ton of people walking around this small town. It's going to be a little weird.

Kanye Arrested At LAX
Somehow this incident does not surprise me in the least. Kanye West and his road manager/body guard Don Crowley were arrested for smashing a video camera and charged with felony vandalism. It is reported that West's entourage got into an altercation with paparazzi before passing through a security checkpoint at LAX. After smashing the camera, the police came to break it up. The police asked other paparazzi if they had videotaped the incident and TMZ.com reporter (if you really can call them that =/ ) said that he had and apparently West lunged for his camera. Police once again restrained him.
Now, remember that today is 9/11 and there would most likely be more police in an airport. And Kanye West's stupid ass body guard smashes a $10,000 camera. Think about being in that airport and seeing a bunch of police officers running and talking on their radios, that scare me the hell out of me. It's 9/11 in a huge airport.
I have hated Kanye for a long time. His music is most of the time pretty good, but as a damn person, Kanye is just a big wet floppy douchebag. I have been unable to find the video, but I have seen one of him either just before or just after an appearance on the Wendy William's show saying that he was "the greatest human being alive." Really? I'm pretty sure that he just a big cry baby that yells when he doesn't win every single award. Read the article here and make sure to read the last couple of paragraphs about other incidents from him.

Beauty Queens And Obama?
Really? Seriously? On the front page CNN.com there is a link to a video that is titled... "Beauty Who Beat Palin Backs Obama".
WHO THE FUCK CARES?! CNN.com is supposed to be a reputable news site and this ridiculous story is on the front page. I mean stories about the election are obviously important because our country will hopefully be headed in a direction, but an interview with some has-been beauty queen living in Georgia has nothing to do with anything. Just because this chick backs Obama, has nothing to with Palin. Okay, she is black and a woman and is backing Obama, but damnit, it doesn't matter!

I've hated this one song for a while now. First because it's country and I hate country music. The second thing is that she talks about vandalizing a truck. The song is by the hot little Carrie Underwood and is called "Before He Cheats." The chorus:

Soccer = teh gay
So there is something stupid on my mind. It's late and I can't sleep, so I decided that I would write this shit down. Why is golf considered a sport?
For some reason this very stupid and VERY unimportant question plagues me and I do not know why. I just don't see how golf can be a sport. You are not competing against anyone. Ok...let me rephrase that. You are not physically competing against anyone. By this I mean that you can not physically affect someones shot. In baseball you can pitch high and inside or low and outside. If they hit it you can either catch the ball or throw them out. That is physically competing against someone. In basketball, you can guard someone and block their shot, rebound, play defense, or even foul them. Soccer, football, and tennis are the same way, something you do can either adversely or favorably effect the other player or players.
In golf, this is not so. Ok, yes. You are technically competing against someone. If you have a lower score than you win. Yay. You are more than likely drunk and really don't care. Now don't get me wrong, I love to drink and this would be the only reason I would actually go golfing, but as far as I know, this is the only "sport" that someone is basically encourage to get hammered while doing. Most people don't drink while they are playing 'ball with the boys.

A new direction for theSHIZNIT
Well, I have been thinking about this blog for the last couple of days. I haven't posted anything because I'm working on starting a couple of new sites. These sites will take a bunch of time in the next couple of months and so I'd like to have an actual direction for this site. And I think I found it.
There are numerous blogs about bringing traffic to your site, making your blog the best it can be, and making money with your blog/site. Well I'm going to try and tie all of these together and add a few extra things also.
There has got to be more ways to make money online with your blog/site than just advertisements and link exchanges. I'm going to research, test, and share my findings on the different ways I have made money on this site.
