So there is something stupid on my mind. It's late and I can't sleep, so I decided that I would write this shit down. Why is golf considered a sport?
For some reason this very stupid and VERY unimportant question plagues me and I do not know why. I just don't see how golf can be a sport. You are not competing against anyone. Ok...let me rephrase that. You are not physically competing against anyone. By this I mean that you can not physically affect someones shot. In baseball you can pitch high and inside or low and outside. If they hit it you can either catch the ball or throw them out. That is physically competing against someone. In basketball, you can guard someone and block their shot, rebound, play defense, or even foul them. Soccer, football, and tennis are the same way, something you do can either adversely or favorably effect the other player or players.
In golf, this is not so. Ok, yes. You are technically competing against someone. If you have a lower score than you win. Yay. You are more than likely drunk and really don't care. Now don't get me wrong, I love to drink and this would be the only reason I would actually go golfing, but as far as I know, this is the only "sport" that someone is basically encourage to get hammered while doing. Most people don't drink while they are playing 'ball with the boys.
Another thing that bugs me about golf...you don't say you are going basketballing or soccering, so why do we say that we are going golfing? Maybe because you don't play it? I don't know, I guess it's something else to think about.
A new direction for theSHIZNIT
Well, I have been thinking about this blog for the last couple of days. I haven't posted anything because I'm working on starting a couple of new sites. These sites will take a bunch of time in the next couple of months and so I'd like to have an actual direction for this site. And I think I found it.
There are numerous blogs about bringing traffic to your site, making your blog the best it can be, and making money with your blog/site. Well I'm going to try and tie all of these together and add a few extra things also.
There has got to be more ways to make money online with your blog/site than just advertisements and link exchanges. I'm going to research, test, and share my findings on the different ways I have made money on this site.

I don't consider myself a very politcal person but I like reading the news and hear about all the bullshit thats going in this presidential race. I am not a democrat, nor am I a republican, but this video of John McCain below, shows how "great" of a public speaker he is. I seem to remember someone else that is a "great" public speaker...
I guess if thats what we can expect from an even older douchebag that seems to be going senile right in front of our eyes, I guess we would have a lot of shit to laugh at. What position is John McCain applying for again? Oh yeah, the fucking president. He needs to actually have a head on his shoulders and not call places by the wrong name so we don't go to war with the wrong country. Anyways, watch this video...

I love drinking
Well, I love to drink. I moved up to a small town in the fucking middle of nowhere and there are no bars, so this means I must drink at home. There is no place to mingle with drunken townies, while drinking bud light, playing pool, and smoking a cigarette. No place like that.
This makes me play drinking games with my girl. She works during the week and then trys to keep with me drinkwise through the weekend. So we decide to play drinking games, but the problem is that there isn't many drinking games for two people. So we sat around watching bingo america while drinking some busch ice and thinking about drinking games.
What we came up with was a couple of drinking games, one good for two people, but both are good for a big group of drunken idiots.
Quarters and a Can
This game requires at least two players, but is best with more than four, the same amount of quarters and cups as playes, as many canned beers as you want, a table to bounce the quarters on, and the ability to drink a lot quickly.
Everyone sits around the table with their cups in front of them, the beer can that is unopened, and their quarters ready. On the same mark, everyone tries to bounce their quarter into the top of the beer can. The first one to make it pours the beer into everyones cup, but like presidents and assholes, they can pour as much or as little as they want. Another unopened beer is placed in the middle and the games starts again.
The trick is that your beer cup has to be empty by the time the next beer can catches a quarter, it's opened, and the winner attempts to pour into your glass. If you can't finish, then that entire beer is poured into your cup. You now have two turns to finish that beer before another full beer is giving to you.
War: the drinkers game
Everyone has played the card game War right? If you haven't, here is the card game rules, if you have played then read on. All you need to play is a deck of cards, two or more players, at least one quarter, a table to bounce it on, and a shot glass.
You play war as normal, but if there is a tie, the two or more players tied take turns bouncing the quarters into the shot glass. The first to make it (if players make it on the same turn, the keep going to make sure a clear winner is found), gets the cards, the loser takes a drink.
The game is played until too drunk to play or someone wins the game by collecting all the cards.
Now have fun my drunken minions.

Yo, welcome to the Shiznit. I'm going to start this blog off with a little bit about me and the direction I want this blog to go.
I have been on the internet "blogging" for some time now, but have not had a site that I posted on regularly for a few years. I started about 10 years ago working on sites that were like blogs but were called "e/n." E/N stood for everything/nothing and these sites had just that. They were about anything and everything, but weren't really about anything at the same time.
I had a popular site at the time called theSHIZNIT that received a couple hundred unique visitors a day. Back then, that was a popular site. I became busy with a girlfriend, sports, and school and didn't give it the time the site needed and I soon after shut it down.
I've been trying to start another blog for a long time, I just have never kept up with it and delete them. This blog thing has grown much bigger than I ever thought it would be. Everyone has a blog now and some of them are even making money. So I'm getting back into the game.
The direction this blog is headed is still a mystery to me but it will have a direction soon. I like to write about news that intrigues me and different things that happen in my life. Stay tuned.
